Donald
ENGLISH
Donald Duck, the prototype
of the tragic - comic critic of capitalism is the central figure of the
plot. He and his omnopoetic uterrances - here especially in the legendary
German translation. This translation (by Erika Fuchs) is credited with
having introduced a new category of words into German language (!) the
so called Inflektiv. Thats special side - theme of the work, generally
the silly sounds change the story completely by ridiculing it. A lot in
this work - including title - plays with german language and is hence
not really to be translated.
We are in Africa, in an Ink Refinery, where sepias, squids are drained
of there ink. Ink - the worldwide necessary ressource. The refinery is
attacked!!! Liberator or Conquerer? - by an armada of tree - ships. They
are sessile on the top frame of the image of course.
Donald is called in, in his incarnation as Phantomias. He has a bad start,
landing he does the unavoidable banana peel trick, but comes than in,
with backed by his armada of helicopters. Donalds lasergun makes: Zischel,
and off goes the war...observed by the one who sits in the ink - and others.
